BRNO SPACE DAYS: 6 March „ECMWF and Copernicus: Weather, Climate & Atmosphere from Space“

The aim of the seminar is to familiarize Czech Copernicus users with services and products over the open data of the European Space Agency and the European Commission for the Copernicus Earthobservation Programme, two selected services provided by ECMWF. The focus is on the Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S) and the Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service (CAMS). The participants of the seminar will learn about the benefits and opportunities of a wide range of data and services utilization across the industry, as Copernicus data and services are widely used, for example in air and emissions monitoring, atmospheric gases (transport, industry, health and the environment) (agriculture, environment, adaptation to climate change), temperature development (agriculture, construction, adaptation to climate change), ozone layer and ground-level ozone (health), indexes (energy) for observation of hydrosphere, biosphere, flowing in the oceans - everything that affects the weather in our country.
The invitation was accepted by representatives of ECMWF, Copernicus ECMWF, Czech Television - Weather Section, Windy, Copernicus Support Office.
