Statistical Environmental Yearbooks

The Statistical Environmental Yearbook of the Czech Republic is a joint publication of the Ministry of the Environment and the Czech Statistical Office. It provides a comprehensive overview of the state of the environment in the Czech Republic as ruled by Act no. 123/1998 Coll., on the right to environmental information, as amended, and by Directive 2003/4/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 28 January 2003 on public access to environmental information.

The Yearbook emphasises facts and provides a basic explanation of the compilation of each of the indicators; it also contains concrete information on the major causes and factors of environmental change, information on the state of environmental components, some implications of environmental change, and tools for the management and shaping of the environmental policy.
