State of the Environment Reports
Report on the Environment in the Czech Republic is a comprehensive assessment paper summarising the current knowledge on the state and trends of the individual environmental components, environmental impacts of the economic sectors, environmental policy instruments, impacts of the current state of the environment on human health and ecosystems, and the state of the environment in an international context. An additional objective is to review the fulfilment of the State Environmental Policy and identify new priority areas for the Policy to cover.
Report on the Environment in the Czech Republic has been developed and presented to the Government by the Ministry of the Environment on an annual basis since 1993. Following Government approval, it is published on the Ministry of the Environment website in compliance with Act no. 123/1998 Coll., on the right to environmental information.

Report on the Environment in the Czech Republic (hereinafter "Report") on the basis of Act No. 123/1998 Coll., The right to information about the environment and the Government Resolution No. 446/1994 submitted annually to the Government of the Czech Republic and then to Chamber of Deputies and the Senate. The report forms the basis of environmental reporting in the Czech Republic. In the Report for 2011 is assessed 36 indicators.
