National List of Sites of Community Importance

The Czech National List of Sites of Community Importance was published in the Collection of Laws as Government Regulation no. 132/2005 Coll. and comprised 863 sites located in the Pannonian and Continental Biogeographic Regions. Based on the European Commission requirements, the National List for the Pannonian Biogeographic Region was updated by Government Regulation no. 301/2007 Coll., amending Government Regulation no. 132/2005 Coll. The number of Sites of Community Importance in the Czech Republic thus increased to 879.
