Co-operation for protection of international river basins

Co-operation in the protection of the Elbe River was launched in accordance with the Convention on International Commission for the Protection of the Elbe River. At the same time, also preparation of the Convention on International Commission for the Protection of the Oder River against Pollution and later on the Convention on Co-operation for the Protection and Sustainable Use of the Danube was initiated.
