Applications for information can be filed based on Act no. 106/1999 Coll., on Free Access to Information, and Act no. 123/1998 Coll., on the Right to Information on the Environment. Applications can be filed verbally (in person or over the telephone at 267 122 054), in writing (by registered mail, in person to the MoE Letter Office, or by fax at 267 311 496), electronically (by e-mail) to the e-office at email@example.com or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Each application has to show clearly who is filing it and what the required information concerns. There are no official application forms. The application reply periods are 15 days after receipt of the application (Act no. 106/1999 Coll.) and 30 days (Act no. 123/1998 Coll.).
