EU Environment Ministers met today in Křivoklát castle
The medieval castle of Křivoklát some 40 km from Prague became the venue of last hours of the Informal Meeting of the EU Environment Ministers organized by the Czech EU Presidency. Ministers hold a closed meeting here focused on the negotiation strategy of the EU focused on the Copenhagen climate agreement as well as financial measures to tackle climate change.
Minister Martin Bursík met also mayors from Křivoklát region to discuss the intention to create new National park (the fifth in the Czech Republic) here.
